Instructions for Using the Blog
To get back to the main page, where the current blogs are, click on the title, Society for the Teaching of Psychology, at the very top of this page.
Have a comment on a blog? Click the "comments" link at the end of the post. If no comments have been posted yet, it will read "no comments."
Clicking on the blog author's name will take you to all posts by that author.
Under the title bar, you can find an area called "Categories." When blogs are posted, they are assigned a category to make it easier for you to read the posts you are most interested in. Click a category name to read just those posts. Posts may also be given more specific "tags." You can see the most common tags on the far right of the screen. Clicking on a tag will take you to a list of posts with that tag. For example, all posts related to Project Syllabus will be put in the "Project Syllabus" category. Additionally, all Project Syllabus posts that are about specific syllabi will be "tagged" with "syllabus." Posts that are about other Project Syllabus news will be tagged with "Project Syllabus news."
If you don't want to keep visiting this site to see if any new blogs have been posted, you can use the RSS feed feature.
If you just thought, "What's an RSS feed?", watch this short video for a great explanation!
If you have a favorite feed reader, click the orange "Site RSS Feed" button to add this feed. If you don't have a favorite feed reader, Google Reader is a popular one. Your mail program may also have RSS feed reading capability. For example Outlook has RSS feed reading capability, just scroll down past your new mail and look for the folder called "RSS feeds."
